Super Cup (Albania) (Superkupa e Shqipërisë) - an official season-opening trophy match organised under the Albanian FA. Regulations: the match is played between the league champions and the Albanian Cup winners, if one club wins both trophies the opponent is the Albanian Cup runners-up, the venue is set by the federation, if the score is level after 90 minutes extra time (two 15-minute halves) is played and then a penalty shoot-out, if the score is still level after five kicks each the shoot-out continues with alternating kicks until one team misses.
