

Ligue 1 (Algeria) (Ligue 1 Mobilis) - the top professional club football division in Algeria, run by the Professional Football League. Regulations: 16 clubs compete in one group in a double round-robin format, each team plays 30 matches (15 home and 15 away), with 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. If teams are level on points in the final standings, the tie-breakers set out in the professional championships regulations apply in sequence: head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, then goal difference in first-leg matches between the tied teams, goals scored in first-leg matches between the tied teams, away goals scored in first-leg matches between the tied teams, and if still level a play-off match is arranged at a neutral venue with extra time if required and a penalty shoot-out. Under the current provisions, the bottom three clubs are relegated to Ligue 2, promotion goes to the winners of the two Ligue 2 groups and the play-off winner, and the Algerian FA designates the clubs qualifying for CAF competitions (CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup).
