Super Cup (Argentina) (Supercopa Argentina) - an official national trophy organised by the Argentine Football Association, founded in 2012. Regulations: it is played between the winner of the Liga Profesional tournament and the Copa Argentina champions, and if the same club wins both competitions, the Liga Profesional runners-up take the other place. The Super Cup is decided by a single match at a neutral venue, with the date and host city set by the Argentine Football Association. If the score is level after 90 minutes, 30 minutes of extra time is played in two 15-minute halves and, if still level, the winner is decided by a penalty shoot-out.
