

Premier League (Armenia) (Armenian Premier League, held since 1992, sponsored as the Fastex Premier League) - the top professional club football division in Armenia run by the Football Federation of Armenia. Regulations: the current format features 10 clubs, the season is played roughly from August to May in a three-round round-robin, with each team facing every opponent three times (27 matches) and the home order in the third round decided by a draw. Three points are awarded for a win, one for a draw and none for a loss, if teams finish level on points the tie-breakers are applied in this order: head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, head-to-head goals scored, more wins, more goals scored, better overall goal difference, fewer red cards, fewer yellow cards, fair play ranking, then drawing of lots. At the end of the season the champion enters UEFA Champions League qualifying, the next teams take UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying places within the country quota, the bottom club is relegated to the Armenian First League and the First League winner is promoted subject to club licensing requirements.
