Cup (Austria) (ÖFB-Cup, commercially known as the UNIQA ÖFB Cup) - Austria’s national knockout cup competition organised by the Austrian Football Association. Regulations: the main draw features 64 teams and is played as a straight knockout with single-match ties and no return legs across six rounds, if level after 90 minutes extra time of two 15-minute periods is played and, if still level, the winner is decided by a penalty shoot-out. The winners earn Austria’s domestic-cup UEFA Europa League place, the exact entry round is defined by UEFA’s access list for Austria, and if the cup winners have already qualified for UEFA competition via the league, the place is passed down the domestic league standings subject to club licensing.
