Elite One (Cameroon) (MTN Elite One) - the top tier of professional club football in Cameroon organised under the Cameroonian Football Federation (FECAFOOT). Regulations: under the current format the championship is played as a single league table of 16 clubs in a double round robin, with home and away matches, awarding 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. If teams are level on points, the regulations apply head-to-head criteria first, starting with head-to-head goal difference, then head-to-head goals scored, then head-to-head goals conceded, followed by fewer head-to-head red cards and fewer head-to-head yellow cards. If still level, overall disciplinary points across all matches are used, and if still tied additional procedures may apply under the regulations. The champions qualify for the CAF Champions League subject to club licensing. Relegation to Elite Two is set by the season regulations, with the current edition relegating the bottom four clubs.
