Elite Two (Cameroon) (MTN Elite Two) - the second tier of Cameroon’s professional club football competition system under the Cameroon Football Federation. Regulations: the competition is played in two phases, first a regular round-trip stage split into two pools where teams play home and away and receive 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, then a final play-off stage made up of a Play-offs Up single pool of 8 clubs (typically the top 4 from each regular-season pool) and a Play-offs Down single pool for the remaining clubs. The champion is determined by the final ranking in Play-offs Up, promotion to Elite One is typically granted to the top two teams in Play-offs Up, and relegation to regional competitions follows the season quota, with the current regulations providing for 5 relegated clubs in total, including 2 after the regular phase and 3 after Play-offs Down. If teams finish level on points, places are decided in this order: goal difference, then goals scored, then goals conceded.
