

The Chinese Super League (China) (Chinese Super League, founded in 2004 and operating as the top tier of the Chinese league system under the Chinese Football Association and the Chinese Professional Football League) is China’s highest professional club league. Tournament regulations: 16 clubs play a double round-robin season, typically running from February or March to November or December, so each team plays 30 matches. A win is worth 3 points, a draw 1 and a loss 0. If teams are level on points, standings are decided by head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference and head-to-head goals scored, then reserve-team points, U19-team points, overall goal difference, overall goals scored, fair-play points (yellow -1, red -3) and, if required, a draw of lots.
