Second Football League (Croatia) (Druga nogometna liga, Druga NL) - the third tier of the Croatian club league system organised by the Croatian Football Federation (HNS). Regulations: the league is played as a single-table competition with 16 clubs, teams face each other home and away in a double round-robin season of 30 rounds, and points are awarded 3 for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. If teams are level on points, they are ranked by overall goal difference, then goals scored. If a tie after the 30th round affects the title, promotion to the First Football League (Croatia) (Prva NL), relegation or qualification, an additional head-to-head table among the tied clubs is used, ranked by points and head-to-head goal difference, and if still level the overall goal difference applies, followed by fair play and then drawing of lots. Promotion to the First Football League (Croatia) (Prva NL) is awarded to the highest-placed club that meets the licensing requirements. Relegation and next-season composition are governed by the league system and licensing, with the bottom club always relegated, while the 14th-placed club may enter a qualification play-off against representatives of the Third Football League (Croatia) (Treća NL) in a cup-style format, with multiple winners earning places in the league.
