

FNL (Czech Republic) (Czech National Football League (Chance Národní Liga)) - the second-tier professional club football division in the Czech Republic, below the First League. Regulations: 16 clubs take part, the season is played as a double round-robin with each team meeting every opponent once home and once away, for 30 rounds in total, with 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. If teams are level on points in the final table, places are decided in order by head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, head-to-head goals scored, overall goal difference, overall goals scored, then a qualification play-off match if provided for by the competition rules, then drawing of lots. The champion earns the right to promotion to the First League subject to licensing, while the teams finishing 2nd and 3rd earn the right to play two-legged promotion/relegation play-offs against the teams finishing 14th and 15th in the First League, with play-off winners earning the right to compete in the First League and losers earning the right to compete in the second tier, subject to licensing. Reserve teams (B teams) do not earn promotion or play-off rights and a reduced table excluding such teams is used for determining promotion and play-off places. The teams finishing 15th and 16th are relegated to the third tier.
