Egypt Cup (كأس مصر) - Egypt’s national knockout cup competition organized by the Egyptian Football Association. Regulations: the tournament is played as a single-elimination playoff, participation is mandatory for top-division clubs while other registered clubs may enter under season conditions, the final is a single match at a venue designated by the federation, from the Round of 32 a drawn match goes to extra time and then a penalty shootout, the winner takes a CAF Confederation Cup place within the association quota with replacement handled under CAF rules if the cup winner cannot be engaged, and the cup winner also earns a place in the Egyptian Super Cup.
