Premier League - Summer Series (Premier League Summer Series) - a pre-season exhibition tournament for Premier League clubs staged in the United States. Regulations: each team plays three matches and does not face the same opponent more than once, 3 points are awarded for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, the winner is the club with the highest points total, and if clubs are level the tie-breakers are goal difference, then goals scored and then points won in matches between the clubs concerned, with no extra time and no penalty shoot-outs.
