

Eswatini Premier League (Premier League of Eswatini, also MTN Premier League) - the top tier of Eswatini’s club league system, run by the Premier League of Eswatini as the league operator and approved under the Eswatini Football Association. Regulations: it is played as a national league with 14 clubs in a double round-robin format home and away, with the standard points system of 3 for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. If teams are level on points, positions are decided first by head-to-head criteria between the tied teams, including an away-goals rule within head-to-head when applicable, then by overall goal difference and goals scored, and if still level a play-off match is staged at a neutral venue and goes directly to penalties if level after 90 minutes. At season end, the bottom two clubs are relegated to the Eswatini National First Division and the top two second-tier clubs are promoted. The league champions, subject to CAF entry and club licensing requirements, qualify for the CAF Champions League, while the Ingwenyama Cup winners represent Eswatini in the CAF Confederation Cup.
