Faroe Islands Super Cup (Stórsteypadystur, Stórsteypið) - an official super cup match in the Faroe Islands organised by the Faroe Islands Football Association (FSF) as the traditional season opener in cooperation with Lions Club Føroyar for charity. Regulations: the trophy is contested by the previous season’s top-division league champions and the Faroe Islands Cup winners, it is played as a single final, and if the score is level after normal time the winner is decided under the edition rules, in practice via a penalty shoot-out.
