Ykkösliiga (Finland) (Ykkösliiga) - the second tier of Finnish club football organised under the Football Association of Finland. Regulations: the league is played in a round-robin format, typically with 10 clubs and 27 matches per team, first a double round (18 rounds) and then a third round where every opponent is faced once more, with third-round home fixtures allocated based on the table after 18 rounds. Three points are awarded for a win, one for a draw and zero for a loss. If teams are level on points, positions are decided by goal difference, then goals scored, then head-to-head criteria among the tied teams (points, goal difference, goals scored), with further head-to-head resolution including away goals where applicable, and finally a draw of lots. The champion is promoted to Veikkausliiga, and the second-placed team plays a two-legged promotion play-off against the 11th-placed team in Veikkausliiga. The bottom team is relegated to Ykkönen, and the 9th-placed team plays a relegation play-off against the Ykkönen runners-up.
