Ghana Super Cup (Champion of Champions) - an official super cup fixture organised by the Ghana Football Association and scheduled as a possible curtain-raiser to the season. Regulations: it is contested by the Ghana Premier League champions and the Ghana FA Cup winners if they are not the same club, played as a one-off match with the winner declared the Super Champion or Champion of Champions. If one club wins both the league and the FA Cup, that club is declared the automatic Super Champion, while the association may still stage a ceremonial match for the presentation of the trophy against the league runners-up, the FA Cup runners-up or another club as determined by the organiser. The match-deciding procedure is applied as set for the given edition, and in practice a level score after 90 minutes may be settled by penalties.
