Greek Cup (Κύπελλο Ελλάδας) - the national cup competition in Greece for professional clubs organised by the Hellenic Football Federation (ΕΠΟ). Regulations: the current model includes 32 clubs from Super League 1 and Super League 2 and consists of a knockout qualifying round, a league phase with a single overall table, and knockout rounds through to the final. The league phase has 20 teams, each plays 4 matches with 2 at home and 2 away, with 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, and 0 for a loss, and the table determines seeding and progression. Teams placed 1-4 qualify directly for the quarter-finals, teams placed 5-12 play single-match play-offs hosted by the higher-ranked team, the quarter-finals are also single-match ties hosted by the higher-ranked team, and the semi-finals are two-legged. Level teams in the league phase are separated by the sequence of criteria in the regulations, including goal difference, goals scored, away goals scored, number of wins, number of away wins, and an additional metric linked to the previous domestic league season. In single-match knockout ties, a draw after regular time goes straight to penalties with no extra time, and in the semi-finals if the aggregate score is level the away goals rule is not used, extra time is played in the second leg and penalties follow if needed. The winner earns a place in UEFA Europa League qualifying, with the entry round set by the UEFA access list for the relevant season.
