Regulations: the competition is played as a single group of 14 clubs in a double round-robin format, each club plays every opponent home and away, the final table is formed after 26 matchdays, a win is worth 3 points, a draw 1, a loss 0, the bottom two clubs are relegated to Ligue 2 Pro, and the champion represents Guinea in the CAF Champions League subject to meeting CAF club licensing requirements. If two clubs are level on points, they are ranked by head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, head-to-head away goals, overall goal difference, overall goals scored, then a draw of lots, and if three or more clubs are level on points, a head-to-head mini-table is applied in the order points, goal difference, goals scored, away goals, if any clubs remain tied the head-to-head criteria are reapplied to the tied pair, then overall goal difference, overall goals scored, overall away goals, fewer forfeits, then a draw of lots.
