AIFF Super Cup - India’s inter-league domestic cup competition organised by the All India Football Federation, featuring clubs from the Indian Super League and the I-League. Regulations: the final round has 16 teams drawn into four groups of four to play a single round-robin, with 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, and only the group winners advance to the semi-finals and then the one-match final. If teams are level on points in a group, the ranking is decided by head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, head-to-head goals scored, then head-to-head criteria are reapplied to any remaining subset, followed by overall goal difference and overall goals scored, then a penalty shoot-out if only two teams are tied and they met in the last group matchday, followed by disciplinary points and drawing of lots. In the knockouts, semi-finals level after 90 minutes go straight to penalties with no extra time, while the final uses extra time and then penalties if needed. The winner qualifies for the AFC Champions League Two Preliminary Round under the entry rules.
