

Liga 1 (Indonesia) (also known as the Super League) is the top professional club division in Indonesia under the national association and the league operator. Regulations: 18 clubs take part, the season is played as a double round-robin, with each team playing 34 matches, home and away against every opponent. Teams receive 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. The table is ordered by points, if teams are level on points the tie-breakers are applied by head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference and head-to-head goals scored, if equality remains the head-to-head procedure is re-applied only to the clubs still tied, and if they are still level the next criteria are overall goal difference, overall goals scored, fair play ranking based on cards, then drawing of lots. The club finishing 1st is the champion, clubs in positions 16-18 are relegated to the second tier. Qualification for AFC club competitions is based on final league positions within the association’s quota and subject to club licensing.
