Super Cup (Israel) (Aluf HaAlufim, אלוף האלופים) - an official trophy match between the Israeli league champions and the Israel State Cup holders under the Israel Football Association. Regulations: it is played as a single match at the start of the season, contested by the previous season’s champions and cup winners, and if the same club wins both competitions the opponent is the league runners-up, with the venue and match organisation governed by the league and cup committee decisions and the current edition of the regulations, including the practice of hosting the match at the champions’ ground. If the score is level after 90 minutes, the method of deciding the winner is set by the season regulations and has been applied either as a direct penalty shootout without extra time or as extra time followed by penalties.
