

Ligue 1 (Côte d’Ivoire) (Ligue 1 LONACI) - the top-tier professional club league in Côte d’Ivoire under the Ivorian Football Federation. Regulations: the competition is played as a league, with 16 clubs playing a round-robin season home and away, awarding 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. If teams are level on points, they are ranked by overall goal difference, then goals scored, then number of wins. The bottom-placed teams are relegated to Ligue 2, with the number of relegation places set by the season regulations. At season end, the champions and runners-up qualify for the CAF Champions League, while the third-placed league team and the Coupe de Côte d’Ivoire winner qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup.
