Jordan Cup (Jordan) (كأس الأردن) - Jordan’s main domestic knockout cup competition organised by the Jordan Football Association. Regulations: the competition includes clubs from the Jordan Pro League, the Jordan First Division and the Jordan Second Division, with a preliminary round for selected Second Division clubs, and the main bracket then starts from the round of 32 and is completed to 32 participants. From the round of 32 onward the tournament is straight single elimination played as one match, and if level after 90 minutes the tie is decided immediately by a penalty shoot-out with no extra time, while the final is a single match with 2x15 minutes of extra time if level and then a penalty shoot-out if required. Main-stage matches are hosted by the club assigned an odd number in the draw, and match revenues are shared equally between the two clubs. The cup winner qualifies for the Jordan Super Cup against the Jordan Pro League champion, and participation in AFC competitions depends on the annual slot allocation and club licensing requirements, while for UAFA competitions the usual priority sequence places the league champion first and the cup winner next.
