

Jordan Shield Cup (Jordan) (درع الاتحاد) - an official Jordan Football Association competition contested by clubs from the Jordanian Pro League. Regulations: the tournament is played as a single-stage fragmented league under an approved fixture list, teams receive 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, the title goes to the team with the most points, and if teams are level on points the ranking is decided by head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, head-to-head goals scored with no away-goals rule, then overall goal difference and overall goals scored, followed by fair play based on disciplinary cards where fewer points ranks higher, and finally a draw of lots if required. The winner qualifies for the next season's Jordan Super Cup and no continental qualification is awarded through this tournament.
