Jordan Super Cup (كأس السوبر) - an official trophy competition organised by the Jordan Football Association between the leading domestic clubs. Regulations: the standard model pairs the Jordan Pro League champion with the Jordan FA Cup winner, and if the same club wins both league and cup the league runner-up becomes the other participant, the tie is played as a two-leg knockout home and away and the winner is decided on aggregate, and if the tie remains level it is decided under IFAB procedures using a penalty shoot-out, with no requirement to apply an away-goals rule. Participation is mandatory for the qualified clubs, if one side refuses to play or fails to appear the title is awarded to the other, and if a club withdraws before the competition the replacement is determined by the previous season’s final league standings. In some seasons the federation may approve an expanded four-team Super Cup tournament involving the Pro League champion, the FA Cup winner, the Jordan Shield Cup winner and the Pro League runner-up, with vacancies filled by priority order starting with the FA Cup runner-up and then the 3rd and 4th league-placed clubs.
