Kosovo Cup (Kupa e Kosovës) - the national cup competition in Kosovo organised under the Football Federation of Kosovo. Regulations: the competition has two phases - a preliminary phase and a knockout phase, with lower-division clubs starting first to produce two winners who then join 20 First League clubs and 10 Superliga clubs to make 32 teams at the round of 32. From the round of 32 the cup is played as single-match elimination ties, with the home team set by the draw under federation rules, including a priority principle for teams that were away in the previous round and, if both teams have the same status, the first drawn team hosting; the same principle applies in the quarter-finals, while the semi-finals are played over two legs home and away. The final is staged in the capital of Kosovo or at a venue designated by the federation’s executive committee, and if the score is level in the final, extra time of two 15-minute periods is played followed by a penalty shoot-out under IFAB and UEFA rules. The cup winner qualifies for the UEFA Europa League qualifying phase, entering at the first qualifying round.
