Kuwait Emir Cup (كأس أمير الكويت) - Kuwait’s primary domestic knockout cup competition organized by the Kuwait Football Association. Regulations: the competition is played on a single-elimination basis, with all clubs eligible to participate, and the bracket is structured by splitting teams into two groups and seeding them based on the previous season, where Kuwait Premier League positions are ranked 1-10 and Kuwait Division One positions are ranked 11-15, and an additional qualifying play-off may be held for newly admitted clubs to determine the final Round of 16 participant. If the final is level after 90 minutes, the winner is decided by a penalty shootout. The cup winner qualifies to take part in the Kuwait Super Cup and, subject to Kuwait’s seasonal quota and licensing, is prioritized for entry into AFC club competitions.
