Lebanese Premier League (الدوري اللبناني الممتاز) - the top tier of Lebanese club football organised by the Lebanese Football Association. Regulations: the competition features 12 clubs and is played in two phases, with a single round-robin first phase followed by a split into a top six and a bottom six, and since 2022/23 the points from the first phase are carried into the second phase in a reduced form, while clubs remain within their own half regardless of how their points compare to teams in the other half. In the second phase, the top six contest the Championship Round and the bottom six contest the Relegation Round, with each group playing the number of matches set for that edition, and teams earn 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. Tie-breakers are applied in the league sequence, starting with head-to-head points, then head-to-head goal difference, then overall goal difference, overall goals scored and disciplinary criteria. The champion and, depending on AFC slot allocation and licensing, other top-placed clubs qualify for the AFC Challenge League, while the bottom two clubs from the Relegation Round are relegated to the Lebanese Second Division.
