Cup (Lithuania) (LFF taurė, FPRO LFF taurė) - Lithuania’s main domestic knockout cup competition organised by the Lithuanian Football Federation. Regulations: the tournament is played as a single-elimination competition, the winner of each tie advances and the loser is eliminated, A Lyga clubs enter from the Round of 32 stage, and pairings for all rounds except the final are decided by a draw. Each round except the final is a one-off match, the tie is hosted by the lower-division club, and when both clubs are from the same level the home team is the one drawn first. If level after 90 minutes, extra time is played in two 15-minute periods, and if still level the winner is decided by a penalty shoot-out. The winner earns Lithuania’s UEFA club competition place under the UEFA access list, and if both finalists are already qualified for UEFA competition or the cup winner also finishes 2nd or 3rd in A Lyga, the UEFA Europa Conference League place is reassigned to the 4th-placed A Lyga club.
