If teams finish level on points, the ranking is determined by head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, overall goal difference, overall goals scored, then Fair Play, and finally by drawing of lots. The bottom two clubs are relegated to Mali’s second tier, while two clubs are promoted from the lower division. The champion qualifies for the CAF Champions League, and Mali’s CAF Confederation Cup berth is typically allocated to the Malian Cup winner, with the slot potentially passing to the next eligible league finisher if an overlap occurs.
