Botola Pro (Botola Pro Inwi) - the top-tier professional club league in Morocco, organized by the National Professional Football League under the Royal Moroccan Football Federation. Regulations: the competition typically features 16 clubs playing a double round-robin home-and-away season, with 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, and final positions are determined by total points over the full schedule. If two teams are level on points, the regulations apply tie-breakers such as head-to-head goal difference, then overall goal difference, then number of wins and goals scored, and if teams still cannot be separated a deciding play-off match on neutral ground may be scheduled. If three or more teams are level, overall goal difference is commonly applied first, followed by wins and goals scored, with additional matches possible if required by the competition rules. Two bottom-placed teams are relegated to Botola Pro 2, while the 13th and 14th placed teams play two-legged relegation play-offs against the 4th and 3rd placed teams from Botola Pro 2, with the winner decided by points across both legs, then total goals, then away goals, and if still level a penalty shootout is taken in the second leg. At the end of the season, the champion and runners-up qualify for the CAF Champions League, while the third-placed team and the national cup winner qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup.
