Each tie is decided in one match, and if level after 90 minutes, two 15-minute extra-time periods are played followed, if necessary, by penalties. The winner may qualify for AFC club competitions via Oman's AFC slots, which currently include one place in AFC Champions League Two qualifying and one direct place in the AFC Challenge League group stage, subject to domestic allocation rules and club licensing.
