Second League B - Group 1 (Russia)

Second League (Russia) - Division B, Group 1 - one of the regional groups within Russia’s professional league system below the First League and the Second League - Division A. Regulations: the competition participants are allocated into 4 groups including Group 1, matches in the group are played in a double round-robin format home and away, 3 points are awarded for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, positions are decided by points, if two teams are level the tie-breakers are applied in order as head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, head-to-head away goals, then total wins, overall goal difference, goals scored, away wins, away goals, disciplinary points, then drawing of lots, if three or more teams are level separate tie-breakers apply with priority to head-to-head criteria, then overall criteria, disciplinary points and drawing of lots. The group winner earns the right to play in the Second League - Division A in the “Silver” group at the second stage subject to obtaining an RFU 3-A licence, if the winner does not obtain the licence or declines, the right passes to the second-placed team that holds an RFU 3-A licence, at the end of the season the bottom two teams in the group drop out of the participant list for the next season, if there are withdrawn or expelled clubs that have played 50% or more of scheduled matches, such clubs are treated as the teams that drop out.
