Rwanda National Football League (Rwanda Premier League, formerly Primus National Football League) - the top tier of Rwandan club football under the Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA). Regulations: the league is played in a double round-robin format with teams facing each other home and away, awarding 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, and if teams are level on points the ranking is decided first by goal difference and then by additional criteria defined in the season regulations. The bottom teams are relegated to the Rwandan Second Division, while the league champion represents Rwanda in the CAF Champions League, and the CAF Confederation Cup place is typically allocated via the Rwandan Cup (Rwanda Peace Cup), with final allocation subject to CAF slots and the season rules.
