San Marino Championship (Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio) - the top-tier domestic league competition in San Marino organised by the San Marino Football Federation. Regulations: the league is played by 16 teams in a double round-robin format with home and away matches, teams receive 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, and the regular-season leader is declared champion, while a tie on points for 1st place is decided by a championship play-off match with extra time and penalties. If teams are level on points in the standings, the federation criteria apply in this order: points in head-to-head matches, head-to-head goal difference, head-to-head goals scored, overall goal difference, overall goals scored, overall goals conceded, most wins, drawing of lots. After the regular season there is a play-off phase: teams placed 2-7 qualify for the quarter-finals, teams placed 8-11 play single-match preliminaries (8th vs 11th and 9th vs 10th), the winners complete the quarter-final bracket, and the quarter-finals and semi-finals are played over two legs, with any aggregate tie decided by the higher regular-season position. The season also includes single-match placement finals for 2nd-3rd and 4th-5th places, with extra time and penalties if level. The champions qualify for the UEFA Champions League qualifying phase, while the Coppa Titano winners and the Conference League play-off winners qualify for the UEFA Conference League qualifying phase, and if the same club occupies multiple berths the place is passed down to the highest league team not already qualified for Europe.
