

Singapore Cup (Singapore Cup) - Singapore’s premier national club cup competition organised by the Football Association of Singapore. Regulations: the competition format is approved for each season and, in recent editions, combines a group phase with a knockout stage, teams play a round-robin in the group phase and earn 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, ties on points are separated under the competition rules with priority given to head-to-head criteria and goal difference, followed by overall records and disciplinary criteria where applicable, the top teams progress to the semi-finals which may be played over two legs, then a single-match final decides the trophy, and knockout ties level are settled by extra time and, if required, a penalty shootout. The winner qualifies to represent Singapore in the AFC Champions League Two group stage subject to licensing and slot allocation.
