Primera Federación - Group 2 (Spain) (Primera Federación) is one of the two geographical sections of Spain’s third-tier national league organised by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. Regulations: the group has 20 clubs playing a double round-robin of 38 matchdays with 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. The group champion is promoted directly to Segunda División, teams placed 2nd-5th qualify for the promotion play-offs for an additional spot, and teams placed 16th-20th are relegated to Segunda Federación. If two clubs finish level on points, the tie-breakers are head-to-head goal difference, then overall goal difference, then goals scored, then fair play, and if still level a neutral-venue match can be ordered, while ties among three or more clubs are resolved by a mini-table of matches among the tied teams using points first and head-to-head goal difference next, before reverting to overall goal difference, goals scored and fair play. The promotion play-offs are two-legged semi-finals and finals with cross-group pairings, decided on aggregate goals, and if level after 30 minutes of extra time in the second leg the higher regular-season ranking advances.
