Segunda Federación - Group 2 (Spain) (Segunda Federación - Grupo 2) is one of the five groups of Spain’s national fourth-tier league organised by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. Regulations: the group has 18 clubs playing a double round-robin of 34 matchdays, with 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. If two teams are level on points, the tie-breakers are head-to-head goal difference, then overall goal difference, then goals scored, then fair play, and if still level a neutral-venue match may be ordered. If three or more teams are level, the ranking is first resolved by results among the tied teams using points and goal-difference criteria in those matches, and then, if needed, by overall goal difference, goals scored and fair play. The group winner is promoted directly to Primera Federación. Teams placed 2nd to 5th enter the promotion play-offs, which are two rounds of two-legged ties drawn by lot, avoiding same-group pairings until the final where possible, pairing better finishers against worse finishers, with the first leg hosted by the lower finisher. Each tie is decided on aggregate goals, if level after the second leg there is 30 minutes of extra time, and if still level the higher regular-season finisher advances, and if both had the same finishing position the tie is decided by penalties. The bottom five teams are relegated to Tercera Federación. In addition, the four 13th-placed teams with the worst coefficient across the five groups play a two-legged relegation play-out, decided on aggregate, then extra time and penalties, with the two losers relegated.
