Segunda Federación - Group 5 (Spain) (Segunda Federación - Grupo 5) is one of the five groups of Spain’s national fourth-tier league under the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). Regulations: the competition has 90 clubs split into five groups of 18, each group plays a 34-matchday double round-robin, with 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. If two clubs are level on points, the tie-breakers are head-to-head goal difference, then overall goal difference, then goals scored, then fair play, and if required a neutral-venue match is appointed. If three or more clubs are level, ranking is first resolved by points in a mini-table of matches among the tied clubs, if two teams remain level after that it is decided by their head-to-head goal difference, then overall goal difference, goals scored and fair play. The group winner is promoted directly to Primera Federación, while teams placed 2nd to 5th enter the promotion play-offs, played over two legs across two rounds, with ties drawn by lot pairing better finishers against worse finishers and, where possible, avoiding same-group pairings until the final, and the first leg hosted by the lower finisher. Each tie is decided on aggregate, if level there is 30 minutes of extra time, and if still level the higher regular-season finisher advances, and if both had the same finishing position the tie is decided by penalties. The bottom five teams in the group are relegated to Tercera Federación. In addition, the four 13th-placed teams with the worst coefficient across the five groups under RFEF rules play a two-legged relegation play-out drawn by lot, decided on aggregate, then extra time and penalties, with the two losers relegated.
