Ligue 1 (Tunisia) (Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1, الرابطة التونسية المحترفة الأولى) - the top professional club football division in Tunisia, run under the Tunisian Football Federation and the Ligue Nationale du Football Professionnel. Regulations: the league is typically contested by 16 clubs in a double round-robin format, with each team playing 30 matches home and away, 3 points are awarded for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss, and ties on points are broken by head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, overall goal difference, goals scored, fair play ranking and, if required, a play-off match. At the end of the season the top two clubs qualify for the CAF Champions League, two further clubs qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup, and the bottom two clubs are relegated to the second tier.
