Ligue 2 (Tunisia): matches and statistics

Ligue 2 (Tunisia) (Ligue Professionnelle 2) - the second tier of the Tunisian club league system organised under the Tunisian Football Federation. Regulations: the season format and the number of clubs are set each season, most commonly with two geographic groups played home and away and a 3-1-0 points system, and ties on points are broken by the federation criteria in this order: points in head-to-head matches, head-to-head goal difference, goal difference in all first-leg matches, goals scored in the first leg, goals scored in head-to-head matches, fair play record, then a draw of lots. Promotion to the Tunisian Ligue 1 (Ligue Professionnelle 1) and relegation are defined by the season formula and may be decided directly from the group tables or via a second phase with a play-off and a neutral-site play-off match against a Ligue 1 club, and Ligue 2 itself does not allocate direct CAF competition places.
