3. Lig - Group 2 (Turkey)

TFF 3. Lig - Group 2 (Turkey) (TFF 3. Lig, 2. Grup) - one of the four regional groups of Türkiye’s third professional division organised by the Turkish Football Federation (Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu, TFF). Regulations: the group is played as a 16-team double round-robin league with home and away matches, awarding 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. If teams are level on points, TFF tie-break rules apply: for two tied teams, head-to-head points are checked first, then head-to-head goal difference, then overall goal difference, then goals scored, with no advantage from away goals in head-to-head matches, then the absence of forfeit losses is considered, and if a definitive decision is still required for promotion or relegation a further play-off match is ordered. For three or more tied teams, a mini-table of matches among the tied teams is used with points, goal difference and goals scored checked in order, then overall goal difference and goals scored, then the absence of forfeit losses, and if needed additional match or matches. The group winner is promoted directly to TFF 2. Lig, while the teams finishing 2nd to 5th enter the promotion play-offs for the remaining two promotion places: within the group there are two two-legged rounds, Round 1 pairs 2nd v 5th and 3rd v 4th with the first legs hosted by the 4th and 5th placed teams, ties are decided by aggregate goals, and if level after the second leg extra time is played followed by penalties, then the Group 2 play-off winner advances to the neutral-venue final stage where it plays a single-match semi-final against the Group 1 play-off winner, and if level extra time and penalties apply, with the two semi-final winners promoted. Teams finishing 13th to 16th are relegated to the Regional Amateur League (Bölgesel Amatör Lig).
