The Turkish Super Cup (TFF Süper Kupa) is a Turkish national trophy match organised by the Turkish Football Federation, first held in 1966. Regulations: under the current four-team format, the Süper Lig champion and runner-up, plus the Turkish Cup winner and Turkish Cup finalist, compete in single-match knock-out semi-finals and a one-match final at neutral venue(s). The semi-finals are paired as league champion vs cup finalist and cup winner vs league runner-up, with contingency pairings applied if a club occupies more than one slot, including admitting the league’s 3rd-placed team when needed. If a match is level after 90 minutes, extra time of two 15-minute periods is played, and if still level the winner is decided by a penalty shoot-out.
