The Ukrainian Super Cup (founded in 2004) is a national trophy match contested by the Ukrainian league champions and the Ukrainian Cup holders from the previous season. Regulations: it is a single 90-minute match, and if level there is no extra time, the winner is decided by a penalty shoot-out. If one club wins both the league and the cup, the opponent is the league runners-up. The venue is designated by the organiser as a neutral stadium.
