First Division (UAE): matches and statistics

UAE First Division League - the second tier of the Emirati club league system organised under the UAE Football Association. Regulations: the competition is played as a league in a round-robin format with fixtures set by the season calendar, awarding 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss. If clubs finish level on points, ranking is decided by the federation’s fixed tie-break sequence: head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, head-to-head goals scored, then overall goal difference and overall goals scored. At the end of the season, the champion and runner-up are promoted to the UAE Pro League, while the bottom two clubs are relegated to the UAE Second Division League, and promotion is subject to meeting the club licensing requirements.
