Super Cup (UAE)

UAE Super Cup (Emaar Super Cup) - an official national trophy match in the United Arab Emirates organised by the UAE Pro League in coordination with the UAE Football Association. Regulations: the match is contested by the previous season ADNOC Pro League champion and the previous season UAE President’s Cup champion, and if the same club wins both competitions, the Super Cup is played by the league champion and the league runner-up. The trophy is decided in a single match at a neutral venue designated by the league, with the league champion treated as Team A for organisational matters. If the score is level after 90 minutes, the winner is determined by a penalty shoot-out under the IFAB Laws of the Game, no extra time is played, each team takes five kicks and, if still level, sudden-death kicks follow until a winner is decided.
