MLS All-Star Game (Major League Soccer All-Star Game) is an annual exhibition match run by MLS in which an MLS all-star selection faces an invited opponent, in recent editions typically the Liga MX All-Stars. Regulations: the match is a single 90-minute game, no extra time is played and if level after full time it goes straight to a penalty shoot-out. The MLS squad is selected as a 26-player roster, with 12 chosen by a combined vote of fans, players and media, 12 picked by the All-Star head coach and 2 commissioner’s selections.
