Uzbekistan Pro League (Proliga) - the professional second-tier league in the Uzbek football league system run by the Uzbekistan Professional Football League. Regulations: the competition uses a league format, the current model features 6 clubs playing a quadruple round-robin - 20 rounds total, with 10 home and 10 away matches per club, and points awarded 3-1-0. If teams are level on points, positions are decided in sequence by head-to-head match result, head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, then overall goal difference, overall goals scored, overall away goals scored, overall wins, overall away wins, and fewer home defeats, and if still level the U19 team result is considered, while for determining the champion or a place granting entry to the AFC Champions League a neutral-venue “golden” match is played, and any team that has a technical defeat in a head-to-head match is ranked below the opponent as an exception. The Pro League champion is promoted directly to the Super League, while the runner-up can reach the Super League via a single transition match within the Super League play-off pathway with extra time and penalties if level, and the Pro League table does not allocate direct international berths.
