Super League (Uzbekistan) - the top professional club football division in Uzbekistan run by the Uzbekistan Professional Football League, founded in 1992. The table is ordered by points, if teams are level on points the tie-breakers are applied in order as head-to-head, head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, overall goal difference, overall goals scored, overall away goals scored, overall wins, overall away wins, then fewer home defeats overall, if teams are still level the U19 team result is considered, but for the champion or a place granting participation in the Champions League a “golden” match is played at a neutral venue. The 16th-placed team is relegated to the Pro League, teams finishing 12th to 15th play a relegation play-off with single-match rounds, in round one 12th hosts 15th and 13th hosts 14th with the winners staying up, the two losers play in round two at the higher-ranked team’s ground with the winner staying up, the round-two loser plays away against the Pro League runner-up for a Super League place, if the score is level extra time is played and then, if necessary, a penalty shoot-out. Qualification for AFC club competitions depends on slot allocation and final standings subject to licensing requirements, Uzbekistan has two direct slots, one in the AFC Champions League Elite group stage and one in the AFC Champions League Two group stage.
