Super Cup (Venezuela) (Supercopa de Venezuela) - an official Venezuelan super cup match organised by the Venezuelan Football Federation together with Liga FUTVE. Regulations: the trophy is played as a single match between the previous season’s top-division champions and the Copa Venezuela winners, with edition-specific organisational details approved by the organisers. If level after 90 minutes, 30 minutes of extra time are played and if still level the winner is decided by a penalty shoot-out. If one club holds both titles, the opponent is defined by the rules of that edition, and the organisers have indicated that the format may be expanded in future seasons.
